&lt;p&gt;Due to continued expansion our client has an immediate requirement for a Generator Repair &amp;amp; Overhaul Engineer who will be based in the workshop and will be responsible for fault finding and repair of a variety of generators ranging from 20kva up to 750kva. It is essential for this role that you have a proven ability of stripping down machinery, investigating and identifying faults in order to repair or replace parts and ensure that the generator is back up in good working order. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This presents itself as an ideal opportunity to join an established company and, although not essential, could be well suited for a person who has previously served in the Armed Forces i.e. Army, Royal Navy or Royal Air Force (RAF), Royal Signals, REME, Royal Engineers and held a position within a similar role.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Responsibilities:&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;/p&gt;

  &lt;li&gt;You will be required to clean up the equipment and also replace any parts needed. &lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Responsible for visiting countries where the Group has business interests to identify training needs, develop and provide technical training courses for company customers and employees to ensure they perform their job duties efficiently, effectively and in a safe manner. Focus should apply to quality of repair, compliance with the manufacturer requirements and right first time fix. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Key Responsibilities:&lt;/strong&gt; Develop/update the competency-based programs and training models in co-operation with the management for the after-sales department of each employee. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
  &lt;li&gt;Deliver on the job coaching to the required standard to meet fully the requirements and needs of the employees and customers &lt;/li&gt;
  &lt;li&gt;Develop required training materials (course outline, background material, &amp;amp; training aids) for students (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, certificates, &amp;amp; evaluation forms) in line with training requirements and according to standards of manufacturer &lt;/li&gt;
  &lt;li&gt;Deliver training to the required standard to meet fully the requirements and needs of the employees and customers &lt;/li&gt;
  &lt;li&gt;Conduct post training evaluations to assess competency level of employees and provide feedback to line supervisors &lt;/li&gt;
  &lt;li&gt;Research and evaluate the technical content of the training material, update and improve all training materials, aids and facilities as per new requirements &lt;/li&gt;

When and if required to travel to a country there will be a need to conduct Workshop assessments on Equipment, Tools, Workshop Practices, and Warranty. Assist in the training of Technical Staff while in country. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Key Responsibilities:&lt;/strong&gt; To assist in establishing a solution for any product technical issues either through the online helpdesk or by travelling to the required country and repairing with a hands on approach. &lt;/p&gt;
