G4S buys Danish group ISS in £5.2bn deal

Security group G4S has agreed to buy Danish facilities management company ISS in a deal that is worth £5.2bn ($8.2bn).
G4S said the deal would create the world's largest integrated security and facilities services group.
ISS's operations range from security to cleaning services, catering, pest control and gardening.
G4S said the deal would create an estimated £100m of annual savings for the combined business by 2014.
Nick Buckles, G4S chief executive, said: "We believe this acquisition will transform our business, significantly accelerate the delivery of our solutions strategy and create substantial value for shareholders."
