Flybe has announced details of 16 new routes it plans to operate next summer.
The low-cost carrier will expand its route network at several UK bases, including Birmingham, Exeter, Gatwick, Guernsey, Jersey, Manchester and Southampton airports.
Among the new additions featured in Flybe's summer 2010 timetable are flights to Verona in northern Italy and flights to the popular French port city of Bordeaux.
The no-frills airline's new schedule at Birmingham Airport will include four weekly flights to Bordeaux, three to Avignon, three to Limoges and three to Rennes.
Manchester Airport is also gaining a twice weekly service to Avignon, as well as three weekly flights to Bergerac and Limoges, while Southampton Airport is adding a weekly Verona service.
Gatwick Airport is opening up a new three times weekly connection with Limoges; Guernsey
Airport is benefiting from three flights to Edinburgh and two to Belfast; and finally Jersey Airport is adding weekly services to Glasgow Prestwick and Durham Tees Valley airports.
Commenting on the new timetable, chief commercial officer Mike Rutter said: "In an environment in which other airlines are withdrawing services, we’re delighted to be offering close to 4,000 summer flights a week that include the operation of another 16 brand new routes.
He added: "We are committed to ensuring that Flybe offers an extensive range of affordable quality flights to the widest possible range of attractive destinations."
