I had wanted to continue my light-hearted Friday BLOG and bring a smile to everyone’s faces, but, ONE inconceivably event has changed that, I thought the deplorable images & actions with the student & lecturer’s demonstration in London about proposed increased student fees was bad, at least the students arrested will not need to worry about the increased fees as I am sure their university’s will formally tell them to leave their course of study…..
BUT…..
At the stroke of 11.00hrs on the 11th day of November, as we all paid our respects to so many, that has given so much, the dregs of society surfaced, and bought it on themselves to burn a large Poppy and incite their racial, political and religious vile against in all truth, not only the fallen, but the families, friends and love ones that have lost people close to them, who have paid the ultimate price by providing the freedom for individuals to act in this truly intolerable way.
This was so well planned that after the minimal arrests, (2 for public order offences), they then were escorted, (why?) to a tube station so they could make flight and be met by their group of organisers/supporters who then removed and took away the flags/banners and high-visibility vests some were wearing and the whole group dispersed back into the communities they came from.
This has got to stop, these people need to be rounded up and deported from this Country who has given them freedom, security and no doubt thousands in benefits. I am not going to mention their organisation name as we know that they are a splinter group from the already ‘banned’ Islam4UK….
Could we visit their countries or countries of origin and act in this despicable and illegal manner?
No, but they can in this Country because the very people they are protesting against and the emblem they decided to burn, is the very reason they are allowed to make these protests.
We must also remember that we have a fantastic diverse culture in our Country, with the vast majority of Muslims who totally deplore these actions, and many who are serving, have served with HM Forces and died for this country and their freedom, the freedom of their loved ones and the freedom of these mindless individuals.
So with careful reflection we must remember this is a very tiny minority, just like the minority who whipped up and incited the students into the violence and criminal damage in London. We should be seriously considering as a Nation, ways that can and will stop small groups inflicting so much hurt, hatred, violence and damage, with the freedom so many have paid the ultimate price for.
